Система компьютерной алгебры GAP: Southern Regional Algebra Conference in Alabama

Southern Regional Algebra Conference in Mobile, Alabama, March 20-22, 2009 (Reminder) Dear Colleague, This is a reminder that the 2009 Southern Regional Algebra Conference will be held at the University of South Alabama in Mobile on March 20-22, 2009. We thank those of you who already sent their abstracts. At this time we still have a few speaking slots available. If you are interested in giving a 25 minute talk and have not sent your abstract yet please do so as soon as possible. Let us know if you require a more formal invitation. If you are planning to attend without giving a talk please notify one of the organizers. It will help us with our preparations. The first talks will be scheduled for Friday March 20, in the early afternoon. The conference will end by noon on Sunday. As usual, there is no financial support provided for the participants by the host institution. Friday evening all participants are invited to a Conference Dinner provided by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the College of Arts and Sciences. There will be a fee for non-participants (e.g., spouse or guests). On Saturday evening we are planning a picnic dinner, funded by the Conference. The talks will take place in room 370 of the ILB building on the campus of the University of South Alabama. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to participate. If you have colleagues or students who are interested in participating in the conference, please send us their full names and email addresses so that we can include them in any future announcements. Mobile, Alabama is located on the Alabama Gulf Coast at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Interstate 65. It can be reached by air via the Mobile Regional Airport or the airports in Gulfport, Mississippi and Pensacola, Florida, both are a little over an hour from Mobile.
