Our client is an international project management and cost management company. For t - To perform the role of the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions. - To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added cost management service. SCOPE - Cost Managers will provide full cost management services and support the Senior Cost Manager and the Commission Manager with the delivery of our services. - Senior Cost Managers may also handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project, etc. For example a Senior Cost Manager might be the Commission Manager for a $15m construction project or have commissioning responsibilities for a $100m package of a much larger overall contract. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Commission Management, to include: - Conducting feasibility studies and writing procurement reports - Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate involving our specialist Value Management team - Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan - Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively - Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively - Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively - Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client - Value engineering and life cycle costing - Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed - Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages - Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities - Marketing and business development, to include: - Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients - Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities - Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work - Attending 'beauty parades' with Assistant Directors and Directors - Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates and products and hence improve the service provided to clients Internal management accountabilities, to include: - Staff management (where appropriate) - Inputting into the formal management of an Assistant Cost Manager or small cost management team, to include 1st round recruitment interviews, input into resource management and attendance at junior staff appraisals - Knowledge management - Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the internal database - Financial management - Utilising FMS in order to keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission - Process improvement - Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes

Technical Site Supervisor
Our client is an international construction management company with a focus on diffe - Control compliance of the construction works, structures, materials, equipment etc with design solutions, requirements of the construction norms and standards as well as with the other standard documents. - Register the project in Construction Supervising authorities and obtain permits for preliminary and construction works. - Control the Contractor obtained the permits required for works execution. - Check and issue the registered technical documentation "For Construction" to the Contractors. Control availability of this documentation on site. - Control all measures related to preservation of the buildings located close to the project under construction are undertaken. - Control setting out and fixation of the main gridlines and main benchmarks of the building, check and accept according to duly prepared Acceptance Act a detailed setting out of the buildings gridlines, vertical sub-base marks, foundations and slabs. - Supervise expediency and quality of all construction works and their compliance with the construction budget documentation approved, adherence to construction norms, standards and technical conditions of execution and acceptance of structural, installation, finishing and special works, as well as specific works which are executed within winter period. Control adherence to the requirements specified in Method Statements, Process Procedures and Quality Assurance plans. - Check availability of passports, laboratory tests and materials tests results, details and structures used for construction; require that the Contractor check conformity of quality of the construction materials, details, structures and equipment to their passport technical characteristics. Participate in samples selection and monitor obtaining of the laboratory tests results. - Participate in preparation of the claims to the suppliers when the delivered materials, structures, equipment are defective or of poor quality and do not comply with the project requirements and standard documents; issue the proposal to the supervising authorities to prohibit the usage of such materials. - Participate in inspection of hidden works and issue Acceptance Acts of hidden and special works, to prevent carrying out of the further type of works until the acts are signed. Attend main bearing structures inspections. - Evaluation of amount of the carried our works and the works acceptance from the Contractors under condition of conformity of quality to the approved designs and technical conditions. - Control log book and special books records are made in due time and course; information on deviations introduced in construction process is recorded in due time. - Record the results of technical supervision in the general log books of the Contractors, where the design deviations, defects and technical requirements violations revealed during inspection are specified; and indication of exact requirements directed to eliminate observations and terms of elimination. - Control timely fulfillment of all requirements and instructions recorded in the log-books by the author and technical supervision, supervising authorities. - Control timely individual tests of the installed equipment and prepare duly executed records of the test results. Approve the issues related to installation, testing and registration of crane and hoisting equipment in the appropriate organizations. - Participate in working commissions of acceptance the completed buildings from the Contractors. If non-completed works revealed to prepare lists of the revealed defects and outstanding works, determine terms of their elimination and further acceptance commission of the buildings. - To prepare technical documentation together with the Contractor for submission of the completed project to the State Acceptance Commission. - Participate in acceptance of the building by the State Commission and submit/represent the technical documentation and acts of working commissions to the mem
