A man walks towards his neighbor's gate and knocks. He knocks and knocks but nothing happens. He knocks harder. Then a dog approaches him quietly and says: "Man, stop thumping here, can't you see nobody's home?" The man faints... Having come back he stares at the dog and says: "Hey, pup, are you mad? Don't you know you're supposed to bark?"

Подходит мужик к воротам своего соседа и стучится.
Стучит, стучит, но никто не отвечает. Стучит сильнее.
К воротам тихо подходит собака и говорит:
- Мужик, не стучи, никого дома нет.

Two sidekicks come to Bretagne on behalf of their NR boss, to acquire a castle. The vendor signs the contract, elated with the payment, and then the sidekicks suddenly say: - There are some small details to be arranged before our boss moves in. We're covering all costs, so you only have to see to it, that the job's done. - What are the details? - First, there is sand all the way between your castle and the Ocean shore. Our boss likes it when there is grass covering his way to the beach... Next, there are rocks to the West, they obscure the sunset. Our boss loves to watch sunset over a straight horizon, so get these rocks down. Finally, those seagulls, there is that huge flock, flying over in disorder... Our boss loves to see two seagulls, flying from East to West and from North to South, in strict symmetry. So all those gulls should be shot, and only two left, which must be trained to fly following a strict course... In a month, when all those jobs are done, the boss comes, walks the damp grass from the castle to the Ocean, seats himself comfortably in an armchair, enjoys the sun setting down behind a perfectly straight coastline, and watches two seagulls, flying symmetrically overhead. - The real beauty, - he observes thoughtfully, - it's something no money on Earth can ever buy...
