ЧТО НОВОГО? /WHAT’S NEW?/Gov't to discuss make-up of state companies' boards – RBC, 02.07.2008, Moscow 14:43:45The Russian Economy Ministry has sent proposals to the government regarding the composition of Boards of Directors at companies fully owned by the state, Presidential Aide Arkady Dvorkovich told a press conference at Russia's annual national business congress. Dvorkovich also said that a greater number of independent directors were expected to serve on corporate boards and that one of the state-controlled companies would have four independent members on its Board of Directors. Dvorkovich expressed hope that the government would make a decision regarding the proposals this week.
