Доброе время суток всем,

Столкнулся с такой проблемой, может кто встречал, чтобы не копать сильно глубоко...

Я использую PDFCreator COM для того чтобы программно PDF-ить лотус ноутс документы. Задача архивирования передо мной стои в общем.
Всё было хорошо, всё прикурил, плюс iText для изменение метаданных и аттачей. Есть документ с полями RTF, в совершенно произвольно отформатированный контент и походу аттачи вставлены. Идея использования PDFCreator заключалась в том, чтобы максимально сохранить форматирование, расположение объектов в поле в результирующем PDF. Пробовал всякие тулзы типа n2dpf и Swing. Все они работают, но не всегда всё парсят и иногда недосчитываешься некоторый аттачей например. Решил я взять PDFCreator так он давал наилучший результат "визуальный слепок" документа. Он так и делает, если печатать документ через обычный Lotus Notes принт диалог, но проблемы иногда возникают, если печатаешь программно. Собственно грабли с которыми я сегодня познакомился:

1. Есть документ, в нём РТФ поле с кучей аттачей по телу. Местами по несколько подряд.
2. Если открываешь документ руцями, а потом говоришь Печать через меню, вылетает диалог, говоришь хочу печатать в PDFCreator и вуаля. PDF получаеться нормальный, все картинки для аттачей присутсвуют.
3. Берешь делашь программно:

Call uidoc.Print(1)
'Call uidoc.Print(1,0,0,False)


В некоторых напечатанных документах, некоторые иконки приаттаченый файлов отсутсвуют. Что за хрень???
Если пишешь

Call uidoc.Print()


Вылетает принт даилог, пускаешь через него, всё путём.
Я в шоке :-)

Что делать? Неужели опять через АPI идти.

Клиенты Lotus Notes 6.5. Сервер совсем недавно перевел на 8-ю версию.
Две маленькие проблемы, возможно плохо искал через Ваш поиск, буду благодарен за подсказку:

1. На некоторых клиентах есть значок Phone Message (вложение bill.jpg), на других отсутствует. Где можно его найти и закрепить на панели кнопок?
Подпроблема: периодически заполненная карточка Phone Message приходит пустой, возможны проблемы кодировки и шрифтов? Обычно через одну заполненная / пустая.

2. Есть задача перенаправлять письма на внешний ящик на случай отъезда сотрудников. На некоторых клиентах решил вопрос созданием соответствующего правила в опции Rules (вложение ep1.jpg). На остальных клиентах возможности выбирать в правиле Action: Send copy to нет (вложение ep2.jpg). Причем не зависит от клиента Lotus Notes - на одном и том же компьютере открывал учетки разных пользователей - у одних есть возможность пересылки, у других нет.

Hanna, have I got a great site for you. As it turns out, the always-informative Ed Brill has recently written about improvements Lotus has been making to the Lotus Solutions Catalog site.

According to the bloggerly prolific Brill:

But the Lotus Solutions Catalog has been updated with a number of Web 2.0-y features, including a carousel UI, more feedback on popularity and interest in particular entries or the overall catalog, and versioning for entries. All built on Domino XPages, and with a much-improved UI.

So there you go. Right now, the catalog seems a bit like a ghost town in terms of comments and downloads, but I'm sure as the updated site gets used more and more, there'll be more activity.

It's still an excellent example of XPages in action.

Idea:
If you have a document open and Notes detects someone has updated the document, display an indicator that the document has changed similar to the blue circular arrow indicating to refresh a view when the view has changed. Also provide ways to refresh (i.e. press F9, etc.) what is displayed in read mode to update those changes instead of having to close and re-open the document.

 It would be useful to have a utility in Notes to monitor multiple mailboxes. This would be useful for helpedesk/support staff wherein they can monitor their mail and the other common support mailbox.
 
Notesbuddy can only monitor only the users mail box.

Idea:
It would be handy to have a way to have a dialog with others in this forum without having to apply it as a comment to a particular idea.  Either 1.  Provide a way to send email to another member without revealing the recipient's email address to the sender. (like messages in Linkedin).  The reply address would be the sender's registered email address.  Many websites use this format for membership dialog.
Or 2.  Create a general discussion area where conversations can be held outside of the ideas posted.  I prefer the first method.

Idea:
Symphony makes the Notes install kit very large.  This is a problem for remote users.  The process to remove Symphony from the kit involves downloading special zip and unzip tools, rebuilding the install kit as well as getting the install shield tuner and running it to build a new transform.  Just finding all the tools and instructions is challenge enough.
 
IBM should build a kit that excludes this software.
