Коллеги, прошу сильно не пинать за такой архаичный вопрос, но тем не менее...
Имеется обычная рабочая станция, на ней WinXP Pro Rus SP3 + полный клиент Lotus 509а. Соответственно, при запуске консоли в Domino Administrator русские буквы в ней отображаются кракозябликами. Вопрос - что делать и как побороть? Напишите, кто как победил? Или киньте ссылкой, буду благодарен.
Сразу скажу, что форум Интертраста перечитал - решения, предложенные там, не сработали. В частности, прописывание в реестре подстановки шрифтов не привело к желаемому результату.
Iwer: Пришли книги по Лотус в пятницу. Взял почитать домой "Администрирование Lotus Domino 6.5.x" Некрасова. Это просто тихий ужас. Ощущение что автор перевел машиной английские руководства, проверил Вордом и ни разу не прочитал. "ваша Domino система можете иметь смешанную среду" - самый скромный пример. И этого добра там 870 страниц. Как справочник пойдет, а как учебник надо искать что-то другое.
Oh wouldn't it be wonderfull if we had the design docs for the standard applications like Resource reservations, with all the flows and such. I have tried to modify that database and it is hard with my somewhat limited skills.
So, or I am more limited then I thought, or it is built a lot complexer then I thought.
I am hoping for the second option.
Anyway, I think it would be a very usefull thing to have. Not only will it help us modify these apps, but it would also be a usefull source of "Oh, THAT's how they do it!" moments.

Example: I have a block (copied from Ben L.) that talks about "what if my idea already exists?". I only want that to appear when the user is logged in. Otherwise, I do not want to take up screen real estate.
Consider adding a block of text to control panel that only appears if logged in.
Notes 8.0 needs to have Sametime setup policies. Currently there is not a way to migrate over exisiting Notes 6.5 / 7.0 Sametime configurations nore are there any Sametime policies that can be assigned to Notes 8.0 users to accomplish this.
