Система компьютерной алгебры GAP: Conference in Valencia

Dear Colleagues, The next 30th September, Mari'a Jesu's Iranzo, Professor of Algebra of the Universitat de Vale`ncia (University of Valencia, Spain) will retire. On such an occasion, the Department of Algebra of this university is organising a one day symposium on Group Theory in her honour for the next 2nd October in the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Valencia. The session will consist of five plenary talks (with titles to be announced) according to the following programme: * 11.00 h. Presentation * 11.15 h. Miguel Torres Iglesias (Universidad de Zaragoza) * 12.00 h. Luis Miguel Ezquerro Mari'n (Universidad Pu'blica de Navarra) * 12.45 h. Mari'a Dolores Pe'rez Ramos (Universitat de Vale`ncia) * 16.30 h. Javier Otal Cinca (Universidad de Zaragoza) * 17.15 h. Gabriel Navarro Ortega (Universitat de Vale`ncia) We will finish with a dinner-tribute to Mari'a Jesu's Iranzo. There is the possibility of presenting contributions in poster form.
