While is winter in the southern
hemisphere, 19 mb frecuencies have been closing
earlier. RA can hardly be receive on 15415 and 15515
after 0200. On the other hand, 25m is opening before
0300 on 12080 and ABC comes slightly weaker on 11880,
with splattering from adjacent Radio Habana 11875.

for the early nightime period is occasionally
inaudible at all, while //6070 is splattered by DW
German service before 0400 on 6075. Excellent program
by female announcer is on the air between 0300 and

15820 LSB, Radio Continental, Argentina is there with
its barely audible, but despite the week signal
there’s no problem to undertands most what they’re
saying as usual, whenever there is futbol around. Not
neccesarily everyday. If someone heard what was going
at 1500 with RAE on 15345, please let us know.

Till this point this an ordinary posting. But today is
like tragedy for Argentina. And the reason, you can
easily bet is all because of football and its team
eliminated by local Germany from the World Cup.
Someway, this is granting Glenn Hauser the right. Why
that steady suffering for just a “stupid” (or not)
ball game? Six hours have gone (it’s 0000 Sat. July
1st) since this this game ended and they are kind of
lamenting and makes you wonder how long this gonna
take. You can’t be sure that same thing will go if it
were Brazil or even Costa Rica, but to our “relief for
fools” we were prepared with what happened and our
team ended up---not the WC have ended--- being in the
31st place among 32 teams, just because
Serbia-Montenegro got the last position, thanks to
Coite D’Ivoire.

This happens when, as in most Latin American
countries, football, religion and politics are like
opium for the people, and I dare myself to blame the
sport media for giving people too much unfounded hopes
over its team, despite they are good or not, rising it
to the category of invincible. Surely some of you may
have heard that saying “La religion es el opio de los
pueblos”. Well, apply the same for football; or could
be, the favorite national sport.

But our Argentinian colleagues must be proud for one
thing: they got a world class of football team.
Period. They were eliminated not for losing the game,
it was by what in football is known as its “Russian
roulette”: free kicks from the penalty spot. Well,
let’s face it: someone had to win, altho this can be
sustained upon human error. And you know what? I can’t
imagine the Germans lamenting so long if they were
eliminated. I don’t know if I’m wrong, but perhaps
some of my British, French, Germans and even from
Africans can explain if they would go so brokenhearted
because of this. Football, like many human activities,
is just a game. And even further “Life Is But A
Dream”...Oh, I really love that Doo Wop song by The
Harptones. After football there will always be music.

They finally made it: BBCWS behaving like a DX
station until its 0400 when can be heard with good
signal on 4910 Skelton // 12095 Wofferton, noisy. But
not all is lost: at least they granted us the courtesy
for one hour to Cam. at 2100 on 15390guf. Frankly,
got to check 11865guf from 1100 to 1300 to verifiy how
things are going with that transmitter just around the

July 3 at 1311 looked around for CNR-1 jammer on 20m but did not find
it; there was an open carrier on 14318, but it was so strong and steady that I
think it was coming from a VCR, TV or other local household device. Ditto

About 11605 Khz. 7/4/06, 1235 ­ 1300. There were two
stations in Chinese (probably Mandarin). One weaker station was likely R.
Taiwan International (relaying CBS 1 domestic programming per some sources).
The other and stronger station was likely a CNR outlet or other Chinese
source run as a jammer. It didn?t sound like usual CNR 1 programming, but
there wasn?t any other outlets audible to check. I am not certain of which
station was which, but the above seems likely based on content and
respective broadcast direction per the sources I checked.

The weaker station & had lively talk by a M., flute music, then either
poetry or a cadenced speech by a man. It faded out about 1257. SINPO
12331. This station was on 11605.00 Khz.

The dominant station had a M. who continued to talk throughout the period,
carrier dropped abruptly at 1300 with no announcements. SINPO 13332.

The interesting thing was that the stronger station read as 11605.09 Khz. on
my R-75, making a serious rumble against the weaker station in addition to
the talk jamming. I don?t know if the slight frequency offset was
intentional or a slight mis tuning at the transmitter site, but it was

Again looking for the CNR1 jammer on 20 meters, not found on July 5
around 1315. But propagation was below normal with the CNR1 jammers on 15265
and 15285 much weaker than usual. By 1353 they had built up to good level, but
BBC was actually atop 15285, with English lessons. Still nothing on 20 meters

RHC`s new transmitters and/or antennas are certainly beefing
up their already strong signals from only 2 megameters away, but there is no
improvement in the spurious output. July 3 at 1330 I heard RHC IS on 11715,
which is 11805 leapfrogging 11760. This was pretty weak, but still overriding

А так: направление - как раз, пройдя указанную target area, через Аляску и Арктику прямиком

7145 without changing to 9870 for those two hours
listed in WRTH A-06 this July 1st. Pop songs around
1140, Good Times by Chic, Rock Lobster by B 52’s and
Piano Man by Billy Joel ending at 1200 for the news.
Usual fading here in Tiquicia is around 1330 when
noisy conditions rise on this freq.

той же частоте) - прежде всего, есть ли помехи от Гуама на 11640 кГц
... даже за пределами нашей основной зоны покрытия...

schedule for European and African satellites, including World Radio
Network (WRN) and Worldspace, at 1630 UT daily. RSI also continues
to North America via WRN on Sirius Satellite Radio daily at 0030 and
1630 UT. On its listener contact program on Sunday at 1630, Pete
Miller and his co-host (sorry, did not get her name) requested that
listeners send e-mails and letters to the station to tell them that

U S A. WINB, 13570, July 5 at 1307 had some YL singing gospel music with
piano, definitely not The Power Hour. Has TPH already given up on this crummy
signal which they just started using two days ago? Not // WWCR 7465 with TPH.
1353 recheck, however, found TPH was on 13570, with same interview topic, but
not // 7465. Turned out that 13570 was running 100 seconds behind 7465, so you
can`t exactly switch back and forth and maintain continuity. 13570 weak,
undermodulated and distorted as usual. Besides constant CODAR swishes, 13570
also impacted by a data burst of some sort every minute or so lasting about 10

Норвегия/Квитсой
The Kvitsoy station stopped its transmissions of NRK programming on 1314
kHz at 2200 UT, i.e. local midnight; actually they switched off the
transmitters when the new day was already a few seconds old. No any
announcement or even special programming, just the regular P1, with SBG
coverage until 2100 and a country music show after the 2100 news. Wonder
if really nobody cared or if rather management had verboten to do
something.

Checking at 2240 UTC I noticed that Kvitsoy 1314 kHz has now gone. I presume
it went off at midnight Norwegian time i.e. 2200 UTC. Maybe this opens up
some future DX possibilites, but for the moment just a couple of Spanish
stations are audible on the channel here.

So a powerful European MW transmitter closes on the same day as Slovakia
switches off its shortwave transmitters.

1314 кГц. А объявляли, что с 1 июля уже прекратит тут
работу. Может есть шанс, что всё-же не прекратит?
На других частотах, мне по крайней мере, будет слушать
очень проблематично. А 1314 кГц вечером просто гремит как

for some time I have been observing a strange signal of Voice of Russia on 1359 kHz //
1431 kHz (Dresden-Wilsdruff, Germany). The signal is not strong, it suffers from fast,
deep and chaotic fading. This is really typical for the signal. The frequency is exactly
1359.00 kHz.

It can be heard not only by me here in the west part of the Czech Republic but also by
Matthias Zwoch living near Dresden, Germany and also by Tom OK1TP living in the north-west
part of the Czech Republic to name at least two DXers I am in contact with.

Matthias is not sure whether the signal originates from one of Dresden-Wilsdruff
transmitters (1044 + 1431 kHz), he says the 1044 kHz transmitter produces a hum what could

heard July 2, on 9855, to jam Shiokaze (Sea Breeze), also broadcasting to N.
Korea; after CNR-1 off, heard Asian language from 1000-1012. Poor under the

9855 Shikoze (Sea Breeze program) 1030 in English with male
announcer who had a Japanese accent. Gave their schedule and explained their
organization.
They also gave contact information for anyone having information on the
missing persons that they believe North Korea abducted.
At 1033 they went into news, which for them was stories on North Korea
or missing persons. Quite a few items on the planned NK missile launch as
well as on an abducted South Korean person who met his family again after nearly
30 years.
ID's were, "This is Shikoze, Sea Breeze, from Tokyo, Japan."
At 1055 he gave the schedule again but the program was pulled in

minutes later. HFCC says Morocco site. Hmm, does R. Farda publish a playlist?

One of my semi-locals, CJLA "Couleur FM" 104,9 MHz in Lachute is running an open carrier, witht he stereo pilot on, but without any programs. I beat they are

affected by the storm !!!

Even though I'm in the basement, I just heard fairly POWERFUL thunderstorm.

A strong thunderstorms appeared during the last dozens of minutes in Ch?teaugay, a small city on the South Shore of Montreal, about 15 kilometers from my home

QTH.

On the TV, I saw we're gonna have T-storms all-day long.

Sigue es una escucha realizada en el estacionamiento de una banca en la municiopalidad de Dollards-des-Ormeaux:

890 CUBA, CMDZ, Radio Progreso, Chambas, 29 de junio, 0033 - con cancion salsa dura, pero con una melodia melancolica,s igue con identificacion y un son

mas alegre. Muy bien cuando la sintonize, pero se desvanece. SIO 444 a las 0033 Tiempo Universal. ? Fui MUY sorprendido de captar esta emisora a una hora

TAN temprana ! ? El anochecer no estaba finalizado ya !(Chiochiu-Ddo*QC)

Desde mi casa, debo decir que hasta ayer, podi encontrar 1 senal cuabno mas poderoso (Radio Progreso, 890 kHz) y 1 o 2 otros que se escuchan por detras de las

emisoras norte-americanas. Pero, la ultima noche, no podi escuchar casi nada y Progreso-890 fue muchisimo debil. Necesito decir igualmente que Radio Coro se

falta, despues la noche de lunes, no podi escucharla. Una noche, tenia un ruido domestico en los 780 kHz y las otras nada o un senal incomprehensible en la

anulacion de WBBM Chicago. Pero, es bastante bueno asi. ? Ser capaz de escuchar 5 o 6 veces a una emisora Sudamericana en junio esta ESTUPENDO !

Cuanto a la FM, este jueves, durante algun minutos, escuche musica clasica sobre los 90.7 MHz en la anulacion de un senal debil desde Ottawa (tropo-scatter a

menos de 200 kilometros de mi casa) con el desvanecimiento tipico de la esporadica-E. Fue mi primer abiertura, aunque muy pobre y corta, desde el 10 de junio.

Durante la tempestdad electrica de ayer, tenia lo que pienso se trata de nubes muy densos quien estaban empujando el senal hacia el suelo, porque Ottawa fue

poderosa sobre frecuencias como 106.1 (CHEZ-106) o 106.9 (CKQB "The Bear"). Hice une grabacion de CHEZ-106 para un amigo frances. Espero que van a

gustarle por que hay muchas similitudes entre CHEZ-106 y RFM La radio couleur - su emisora preferida durante los anos 80. La pasada madrugada, antes de ir en

mi cama, encontre una mejoracion troposferica hacia el este y norte-este. Cite Rock Detente 102.7 Sherbrooke (a 160 kilometros de mi casa, con 100 kW de

potencia) que se escucha generalmente muy bien, pero con un muy pequeno ruido estereofonico como todas mis emisoras SEMI-locales entre de la misma manera

que 107.3, la emisora local de la cadena Rock Detente - SIN ningun ruido. 94.7 WYUL "Ninety-Four Seven Hits FM" alrededor de 100 kilometros al sur-oeste de

mi casa, tenia QRM desde Trois-Rivieres (~ 170 kilometros desde aca) en // con 102.7 y 107.3. Generalmente, la emisora Rock Detente de Trois-Rivieres eres

completamente tamponada por Hits FM aqui, en Pierrefonds. Emisoras mas cercanas de mi casa, a 80 o 90 kilometros al norte-este, como CJLM 103.5 Joliette o

99.1 Saint-Gabirel de Brandon (no me recuerdo de su apellido cuanto a los 99.1 MHz) fueron mas poderosas que lo que estoy acostumbrado de encontrar. Ottawa

fue una sintonia mas facil, sin los desvanecimientos del tropo-scatter, pero menos impresionante quelas emisoras situadas el este de mi casa.

Por los dentre ustedes que se interesan a la radio de mi lugar de residencia, Rock Detente se vuelve mas en una emisora Pop-Rock/Rhythmic AC que Rythme FM

105.7 (la otra emisora Adulta Contemporanea de mi ciudad) quien tiene siempre los mismos cantantes quebequensces. Hay mas rock de tipo Road Stewart y menos

Robert Charlebois (cantante folk-rock/pop-rock quebequensce). Hay tambien tema de Paul Simon que nunca no he escuchando sobre Rythme FM o muy raro se

encuentre. En algun momentos, Rock Detente se parece a la emisora francesa leyendaria de rock californio "RFM La radio couleur". ? A mi me gusta un poco mas

que antes !

6924.99, 0458-, Undercover Radio Jul 5 About a S7 signal with QSL details at 05:00 and email as undercoverradio@mail.com (?). Then went on to describe

diving in the Solomon Islands. A fair bit of summer static too, but virtuallly 100% readable. Strange KIPM type programming. With the Icom 756Pro2's NR

circuitry, the reception was quite good. Initially a 3-3-3 signal, but with the NR engaged, more like 4-4-4. Nice to hear a station not normally heard on the far coast!

I've just been tuning the 11 metre band c 1500 on July 6 and found three -
or maybe four - DRM signals audible.
25994 - 26007 spread I assume is London - Croydon 26000
25789 - 25801 spread I assume is Junglister 25795
25759 - 25781 spread could be two French stations - Paris 25765 and Rennes
25775
Signals are fading up/down and sound louder than the S meter suggests they
actually are. There is no trace of the Italian station Radio Maria (26000).

On 13 metres the following are audible around 1515..........
21460 ARS Holy Koran poor and 21600 fair in French
21470 BBC via ASC fair - Focus on Africa etc then SBG (Wimbledon)
21570 and 21610 REE both strong
21630 NHK via ASC in Japanese - fair
21660 BBC via CYP good to strong
Sporadic E might account for the strong Spanish signals but the rest ?

activate Libya between November 14-28th. The callsign will be 5A7A.
Activity will be on all bands with CW and SSB, and for the first time
ever, digital modes on RTTY, SSTV and PSK plus another first will be
FM.
The goals of the Dxpedition are:

* To support the development of ham radio in Libya
* To activate a rare country on all bands and modes including the
digital modes and FM
* To provide more than 50,000 QSOs
* To take part in CQWW DX CW Contest as a Multi/Multi entry
* To activate a new prefix - 5A7
* To set the focus on "long distance DX" like W6/7, JA, VK, etc.
* To provide lowbands contacts

Monte Moro/Monte Malanotte-CN funzionano regolarmente? Alcuni network, tipo
Lattemiele, RDS, 105 e Fantastica, ho notato che sono assenti da molti
giorni, mi pare un paio di settimane.

VARIE
- Qualche seria fa R. Italia da Rapallo-Madonna Nera su 103 era spenta e ho
notato che su 103.050 al posto di R. Reporter c'era R. CUORE DUE.

- Su 102.700 da ieri il M. Fasce irradia R. PADANIA LIBERA al posto di R.
Radicale.

PRECISAZIONE
Se per caso segnalassi novita gia divulgate da FM World non e copiatura,
perche se le notizie provenissero da tale fonte la citerei esplicitamente, e
che a me capita di monitorare la banda frequentemente e mi accorgo dei
cambiamenti.

Обнаружилась вторая российская станция с RDS на нашем УКВ:
Юсси Суокас в Финляндии поймал Маяк на 69,11 с PS: "MAYAK".
Возможно, Киров и Элиста 69,14. Или что другое.

Екатеринбург
-- 2 недели назад отключили Канал Воскресение 72,83 (и Нижние Серьги
68,87 не слышно).
-- В Екатеринбурге тоже заменили 2 УКВ передатчика по 4 кВт, РРоссии и
Маяк, 71,06 и 71,84. Теперь они работают в стерео с пилот-тоном.
Стерео настоящее и там, и там.
-- 1260 Радонеж не работает уже 2 месяца.

приема ТВ Швеции заметно ухудшилось, т.к., похоже на то, что нет больше аналогового ТВ на о.Готланд, и шведских каналов стало заметно

STV1 ch 43, 647.25 MHz из Horby (юг Швеции) не очень хорошая замена трансляциям из Готланда, которые очень часто не уступали по качеству

сигналам лиепайского телецентра.

В частично освободившемся от шведских станций эфирном диапазоне заметно увеличилось количество польских станций, ранее блокированных

со стороны Скандинавии - за эти дни принял 5 или 6 программ из Польши, не все из них удалось сфотографировать, качество у большинства

было недостаточным, чтобы разобрать логотип.

TV Finland ch 39 615.25 MHz вещает из Швеции, возможно, что из Стокгольма.

Антенны - волновые каналы МВ и ДМВ на крыше 5и этажного здания.
