Не удивляйтесь. Здесь подразумевается какой-то  Watkins. Такие предложения часто бывают в детективах.

Next words end-s can be singular or plural

А теперь второй тип условных предложений.
-I think I left my lighter in your house. Have you seen it? - No, but I’ll have a look. If I find, I'll give it to you.
In this example there is a REAL possibility that  Ann  will  find  the lighter.
- If I found $100 in the street, I would keep it.
This is a different type of situation. We don't  think  about  a  real possibility, we are imagining the situation.
When you imagine a future happening like this, you use a PAST tense
( DID, WAS, FOUND...) after IF. But the meaning is not PAST.
What would you do if you won a million of pounds?
If we didn't go to their party next week, they would be very angry. Ann wouldn't lend me any money if I asked her.

Tom wants to telephone Sue but he doesn't know her telephone number.
He says: If I knew her number ,I would telephone her.
Tom would travel if he had more money. (  but  he  doesn't  have  much money.) If I didn't want to go, I wouldn’t. ( but I want to go).
Переведите эти предложения на родной язык. Потом придумайте свои  и переведите их на английский. Используйте только данные структуры. В следующем выпуске рассмотрим предложения с I wish....
