Здравствуйте, уважаемые подписчики!

Вы читаете седьмой выпуск рассылки World of Music. В данной рассылке будут публиковаться материалы так или иначе связанные с музыкой, а именно: новости различных групп и исполнителей (биографии, истории создания, дискографии, тексты песен и многое другое). У нас будет представлено все многообразие мира музыки (кроме попсы:)) независимо от жанра, направления и стиля.

Сегодня мы расскажем Вам о известной британской группе Bullet For My Valentine.

История британской группы «Bullet For My Valentine» началась в 1998 году, в Бриджинте, Уэльс. В то время, коллектив носил название «Jeff Killed John» и занимался тем, что исполнял каверы произведений любимых команд, в числе которых значились «Nirvana» и «Metallica».

Накопив собственный материал, музыканты приняли решение записать свое первое демо, но во время подготовки к записи, состав группы покинул басист Nick Cradle, что в итоге привело к распаду «Jeff Killed John».

Спустя некоторое время, оставшиеся музыканты, в лице Matt Tuck (вокал, гитара), Moose Thomas (барабаны) и Padge (гитара), все же вернулись на музыкальную сцену с новым басистом Jay James и новым названием «Bullet For My Valentine», хотя изначально задумывалось назвать группу, как «Opportunity In Chicago».

Подписав контракт с небольшим британским лэйблом «Visible Noise» группа «Bullet For My Valentine» выпустила свой первый пятитрековый ЕР 15 ноября 2004 года. На территории Соединенных Штатов распространением мини-альбома занимался лэйбл «Trustkill Records». В конце марта 2005 года, музыканты представили очередной мини-релиз «4 Words (The Choke Upon)», который был издан ограниченным тиражом в двух вариантах: на CD и виниле.

Группа «Bullet For My Valentine» выпустила свой дебютный альбом «The Poison» 3 октября 2005 года, распространением которого занималась уже крупная звукозаписывающая компания «Sony BMG Music». Знаменитый музыкальный журнал «Kerrang!» отметил данную пластинку, как «”Lostprophets” with Old School Riffs». Первый сингл альбома «Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow» был издан 19 сентября 2005 года. В поддержку дебюта музыканты совершили тур в компании с земляками – эмо-рокерами «Funeral For A Friend».

В конце года, команда «Bullet For My Valentine» была удостоена премии от журнала «Kerrang!» в номинации «Best British Newcomer». Песня «4 Words (The Choke Upon)» была включена в саундтреки к различным компьютерным играм, включая «NHL 06» и «Madden 06», а трек «Hand Of Blood» теперь звучит в «Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Burnout Revenge». На территории Соединенных Штатов дебютный альбом «The Poison» был выпущен 14 февраля 2006 года, через лэйбл «Trustkill Records».

Клип Bullet For My Valentine на песню ‘Tears Don’t Fall’ появился на Yahoo! Music (клип можно увидеть если перейти по ссылке). Эта песня с дебютного альбома “The Poison”, который разошелся тиражом 58000 копий по США с 14 февраля, когда состоялся релиз на Trustkill Records.
Продюсером "The Poison" выступил Колин Ричардсон (MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY) и вышел в Великобритании в октябре 2005 года.
