Poland , 9 days, $250 , trekking [raspisanie:High Tatras]
Hike with our backpacks on High Tatars in Poland. All overnight stays in shelters - tents are not needed, are only food and sleeping bags. Many ekstrimalnih South-West - that is, no backpacks, but with steep slopes, narrow ridges with railings-chains, dizzying cliffs, etc. the difficulty Level is medium-high - harder than in the Carpathians, is easier than in the Caucasus. For beginners (not previously been in the mountains) route is contraindicated. The weather is unpredictable - possible long rains and winds. For a trip to Poland you need to have a Schengen visa (here we will not help). The indicative total budget for the trip is $ 450 per person (tour price + travel Kyiv-Lviv-Krakow-Zakopane and back + accommodation in shelters + power)
Lviv - Zakopane - caves, Giewont (1894 m) - glaspole Wierch (1987 m) - via ferrata Eagle Path - the valley of Five Lakes - Morskie Oko - peak Rysy (2500 m) - Krakow - Lviv

With our first breath we begin to explore the world around them. Every day we become aware of ourselves and our planet more and more. But no book, no film or the most eloquent review will not be the best for the trip, for personal communion with nature.
Actually, I'll take talking about their experiences and personal impressions from a short trip called "the Highest peak".
The Carpathians, no doubt, were, are, and will be unique and distinctive place. And the biggest mistake I could make is to compare them with the Crimea. No matter how much time passed, but I seem to forget I can not.

Around Elbrus from the North

The route along the Northern Elbrus I liked a year ago. Longer, more complex (relative to the same Carpathians), have the opportunity to test themselves in a new environment, though maybe not quite extreme, but already requiring gradual adaptation of body heights. We waited for repeated passes above km, a few nights at 2900m. Attracted the Caucasus snowy crests of their ranges, and of course the opportunity to get close to the giant Elbrus is not indifferent to this route. Here was eager to go in September 2013 but fate decreed otherwise, knocking me to the right temperature before departure, all urgently had to cancel. Time, unfortunately, flies, and here I am already with a backpack standing in front of the train to Moscow. The journey began!
