Position Description

dbRAT has been identified as the strategic distributed Risk & PnL calculation platform for flow products. Major challenges include continued adoption of new businesses and financial products, maintenance and improvement of performance with ever increasing volumes and ensuring optimal usage of available resources. Hence strong programming skills to ensure highly efficient coding are essential.

The application is currently undergoing transformation to provide an intraday risk solution and evolve towards a future architecture which is resulting in numerous opportunities for new technology and areas for a new joiner to show their expertise. 2009/10 will involve considerable replacement / re-engineering of existing components using new technologies so wide technology exposure is a strong advantage.
The position is for a strong Java developer working on the dbRAT application. The role will be predominantly Java development. This role will involve new business adoption, general new features and enhancements.
This specific hire is sponsored by the Credit and Emerging Markets areas so the candidate would become the key developer for that relationship and be closely involved in their book of work but remain very much involved in all other areas of the application and its development.

Daily duties will include:
∙ Analysis of problems and requests for change
∙ Production of technical specifications and estimations of work
∙ Development of solutions and delivery into production
∙ Peer reviews of work with other team members
∙ SL3/4 support of existing applications and provision of timely responses to both direct users and downstream systems. This includes Level 3 production support.

Job Requirements

Essential skills
∙ Strong Java background spanning Java 1.6 server side development, including multi-threaded applications and JMS messaging;
∙ Experienced in building applications with Spring
∙ Strong XML data processing background
∙ Good track of working with unit and integration testing frameworks
∙ UNIX/Linux development
∙ SQL & Database development (Oracle and/or Sybase)
∙ Confident, articulate, enthusiastic and able to operate independently
∙ Very strong written and oral communication skills to wide ranging audiences from offshore developers to traders are essential

Preferable skills:

We also provide a .NET desktop application ( to replace EXCEL ) for many users which hides much of the complexity of our underlying server-based architecture. We are looking for a strong developer in C++ with a strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming with proved knowledge developing miltithreaded applications.

Я вот по своему, видимо, невежеству полагал, что крупность фирмы должна измеряться по среднегодовому проходу (продажи минус стоимость материалов), а не по числу занятых стульев. Не будем брать тех, кто занимается продажей техники или сидит на пилораме бюджета. Рассмотрим софтверные фирмы. От коллег я слышал и согласен с ними, что 100 миллионов долларов – это не крупная, а средняя фирма. Хотя таким оборотом действительно можно гордиться. (more…)

В этом году рост экспорта ПО несколько замедлился, однако его объем должен составить порядка $500 млн. При этом 95% экспортных разработок – это продукты под заказ, об украинском происхождении которых мало кто знает.

Оффшорное программирование является довольно закрытой отраслью, состоящей в основном из непубличных компаний. По этой причине определение финансового состояния украинского рынка носит оценочный характер и серьезно отличается в зависимости от источника. «По разным оценкам, размер рынка колеблется от полумиллиарда до миллиарда долларов в год»,– говорит управляющий директор GlobalLogic Ukraine Роман Хмиль. Согласно последнему исследованию организации «Украинская Hi-Tech инициатива», объем рынка аутсорсинга в 2008 году в Украине составил $530 млн. Для сравнения, по результатам исследования компании Zinnov Management Consulting, в 2008 году компании из Индии и Китая заработали на оффшорном программировании $9,4 млрд и $7,7 млрд соответственно. Hewlett-Packard (Mercury) - Quality Center -> QTP10. Проблемы при работе с WinMenuObject

Товарищи, помогите разобраться со следующей проблемой: есть приложение, написанное на VisualBasic. Внешне приложение представляет собой форму (Window) с набором эдит боксов. Из меню (WinMenu Object) данного приложения можно перейти к форме поиска данных из БД (ньюансов не знаю). После поиска можно выбрать один из найденных объектов. После выбора произвольного объекта в форме поиска, эдит боксы первой формы заполняются данными о найденном объекте, тайтл окна изменяется(!) соответственно найденному объекту.
И тут собственно проблема, не получается вызвать из формы с данными об объекте, меню (WinMenu Object) что бы выбрать другой пункт. ObjectSpy меню бар не детектит. Если рекордить, получается следующая строка:

Window("Title").WinMenu("Menu").Select "Item"

Пробовал сделать так:

title = Window(GetWindowByClass("WindowClass")).GetROProperty("WindowTitle")
Window("WindowTitle:=title").WinMenu("Menu").Select "Item"

после запуска, QTP в логе один раз пишет что все прошло нормально, но пункт из меню не выбирается. В другой раз выдает ошибку о том что объект Menu отсутствует в локальном репозитории. Извиняюсь если описал слишком запутано, может кто подскажет как работать с меню в форме с динамически меняющимся тайтлом?

Здравствуйте!

При написании скрипта дохожу до такого момента, когда нужно сравнить 2 окна одной программы написанной на Delphi где есть много EditBox'ов и PageTab'ов.
Например:
Sys.Process("main").VCLObject("Project").Window("MClient").VCLObject("Payment").VCLObject("PageControlData").VCLObject("TabSheetRecord").VCLObject("gbxPaymt").VCLObject( и тут еще куча обьектов).wText
сравнить с аналогичным окном:
Sys.Process("main").VCLObject("Project").Window("MClient").VCLObject("Credit").VCLObject("PageControlData").VCLObject("TabSheetRecord").VCLObject("gbxCredit").VCLObject( и тут еще куча обьектов).wText

И при этом если будут расхождения - писать в лог что не сходиться.

Это реально как-то автоматизировать?
Или надо в ручную писать каждый параметр и сравнить с другим? Типа if a=b then log.message "OK" else log.error "error: " & a & b
Там получится более 80 параметров для сравнения.

Доброго времени суток!
Расскажите пожалуйста новичку - с помощью чего можно отследить все обращения php скрипта? Имеется определенный скрипт который обращается к определенной команде сервера. Нужно найти какую же комманду он использует и в какую таблицу базы пытается записать значение. Возможно ли такое? в ручную перебирать геморно, более 10 мегабайт исходников. Помогите пожалуйста разобраться.

НО когда я сам захожу через FireFox, я не могу кликнуть мышкой по кнопке и текстовым полям. (хотя могу через табулятор ввести значения и "нажать")
нужно написать тест чтобы он падал если поверх кнопок есть что то у чего больше z-index и который "закрывает" для прямого кликанья мышкой
