Такая ситуация: есть сервер Домино на Линуксе, который виден из вне, т.е обращаясь по адресу my.domain.ru я вижу окно для ввода лотусовых логина/пароля. Есть ещё один сервер - SameTime+Traveler на винде, но он стоит в локальной сети и наружу выхода не имеет. Как сделать так, чтобы при обращении пользователя к my.domain.ru/traveler пользователь переадресовывался на ST+T сервер? Нужно сделать что-то типа симлинка?
Писал БД. Столкнулся с проблемой раздачи прав на отображаемые документы. Решил использовать readers-поля - не подошло из-за несоответствия организационной структуры предприятия и иерархии имен в Lotus (Все пользователи заведены как Имя_пользователя/Организация, а фактическое разделение более сложное). Решил создать нормальную иерархию. Создал ID-файлы для подразделений (ПодразделениеN/Организация). При попытке пересертифицировать пользователя Пользователь1/Организация сертификатом Подразделение1/Организация получаю ошибку "The following error occurred while trying to update the certificates stored in the Certifer id with whose from the directory on the server you selected: Entry not found in index. Do you wish to continue without updating the Certifier ID?"

Я так понимаю, что он не может найти сертификат для обновления в Cert ID с сертификатом Подразделение1/Организация. Но сертификат Подразделение1/Организация был сертифицирован сертификатом Организация.

Вопросы:
1. Что это такое?
2. Как побороть?

Пытаюсь установить второй Лотус на компьютер, но при установке постоянно показывает тотже путь, где установлен первый клиент. Уже вроде все проверила в реестре и удалила все ветки, но никак не могу установить второй клиент
Приветствую, подскажите пожалуйста вариант создания временного контейнера для хранения данных на LotusScript, например временной таблицы или списка, (столбец строка)
Речь идет об Actions, которые размещаются над формой/документом, они бывают button, checkbox, menu separator.

Так уж случилось, что мне требуется именно CheckBox - если пользователь выбрал данную команду,
ставится галочка и по ней запускается агент!!
если он выбрал эту команду еще раз - то галочка снимается и агент соответственно перестает работать!!

Как мне программно (через @-формулы и LotusScript) сделать так, чтобы после нажатия на него этот Action поменял свое состояние,
т.е. стал отмеченным или наоборот пометка убралась?
как мне к нему обратиться? через какой объект?

или как то можно задать в свойстве value у checkbox проверку данный агент запущен? я такую команду не нашла для агента
который выполняется не по расписанию sad.gif
помогите пожалуйста!

DominoPower readers run the full range, from true-blue Lotus loyalists, who won't run anything that's not Lotus or IBM-branded, to those who run highly heterogeneous environments, often mixing IBM, Microsoft, and even Apple solutions.

For those falling into the second camp, IBM's announcement last month that it'll no longer be upgrading DAMO is somewhat disturbing. DAMO stands for Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook and was one of Lotus' particularly interesting efforts to create interop between the Microsoft camps and the Lotus camps. Unfortunately, per a June 19th statement:

The development teams at IBM responsible for the Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook (DAMO) functionality currently plan to continue to support and maintain the functionality. There are no plans to add new features or functions to the technology beyond those that have been developed and tested. Issues brought to IBM Support where it is determined that the functionality is not working as designed will be addressed.
The latest version of DAMO is built on the 8.0.x code stream and there are no plans to bring it forward to a more recent version of Notes. DAMO has been tested and its use is supported with a Domino 8.5.x server. DAMO is a feature of Notes and Domino 8.0 and will continue to be supported for the life of those products.
As with any IBM program, however, the foregoing reflects IBM's current plans and directions, and are subject to change by IBM at any time based on IBM's then-current business requirements.

We've asked around and as-yet, we haven't seen that Lotus plans a substitute offering. But we could be wrong. David's often said we have the world's largest peer review body, so if I'm missing something, don't hesitate to tell me. But a few Lotus customers have brought this to my attention and, frankly, I'm a bit bummed.

While there may never be an easy way to pry Outlook out of the hands of some users, DAMO was a great way of replacing the back-end, without Microsoft end-user loyalists being any the wiser. It was a great way to get better security, better data management, and better scalability into an organization, without tearing away the Outlook clients that some users hold so dear.

But now, it looks like IBM's giving up on DAMO. Of course, never say never again. DAMO works and is supported under Domino 8.5.x and ND9 is some time off, so there's no immediate damage to this announcement. That said, we strongly, strongly encourage IBM to include at least the equivalent of DAMO functionality in future versions of Domino.

After all, can't we all just get along?

Idea:
Often if the Notes Client crashes, the tabs that are opened are those that were open when the client last closed down cleanly.  It would be nice if the Notes client saved the tab state more frequently.  This could be at each change in tab state or at regular intervals, say 2 or 5 mins.  Then on restart after a crash, you have a closer approximation of the tabs you had open.

Idea:
When you use the Check Calendar option you have to close the dialog box to go back to the calendar entry so you can process it further ...  it would be nice if the accept/reject/propose new time etc options were available on the Check Calendar dialog.

The following error occurs when you execute Option 13 of the WRKDOMSVR command on the console for a Lotus Domino Server for i5/OS to edit the notes.ini file: "File CCSID not valid."

In Lotus Domino, you configure activity logging with a time-out setting of 15 minutes for the Agent Manager. However, although the elapsed runtime for agents seems excessive and the log shows the agents run far beyond 15 minutes, the actual measurement of runtime is very short.
