About: This driver allows the Linux kernel to use the ATA over Ethernet
(AoE) network protocol. Using AoE, a Linux system can use AoE block
devices like EtherDrive (R) storage blades. The block devices appear as
local device nodes (e.g. /dev/etherd/e0.0).
Changes: The driver now supports 16 slot addresses per shelf address. The
documentation has been improved. The "fwver" sysfs file was renamed to
"firmware-version". Now aoetools-5 is bundled with the standalone driver.

About: The ATA over Ethernet Tools are intended for use in conjunction
with an ATA over Ethernet (AoE) driver. They perform simple tasks like
listing available devices, triggering device discovery, and restricting
the network interfaces on which AoE is performed.
Changes: For aoe-mkshelf, the number of slots per shelf is now
configurable. Doing "make install" now installs relative to PREFIX and
builds aoeping. Code cleanups eliminate gcc 4 warnings.
