IBM заключила соглашения с Nokia, Motorola, Palm и др. компаниями на разработку ПО для доступа в Интернет с мобильных устройств

Корпорация IBM заключила соглашения с рядом компаний, включающим Nokia Oyj and Palm Inc., на разработку ПО для доступа в Интернет с сотовых телефонов и "карманных" устройств. Условия договоров не разглашаются. По прогнозам аналитиков, такой вид доступа будет широко распространяться сначала в Европе и Азии, где многие пользователи уже сейчас пользуются сотовым телефоном для получения различной информации, такой как прогнозы погоды, биржевые сводки и т.д. Кроме этого IBM подписала ряд соглашений на совместную разработку продуктов с такими компаниями как Motorola Inc., Symbian Ltd., Intel Corp. и Cisco Systems Inc.
