• Начата рассылка диплома ПЕТРОЗАВОДСК-300
  Условия:
  В период с 1 января по 31 декабря 2003 года необходимо провести 10 QSO с радиолюбителями Карелии, при этом не менее 5 QSO с радиолюбителями Петрозаводска. Засчитываются QSO с
  р/станциями, работающими в этот период с территории Карелии ( /Р; /1 и т.п. ). Повторные QSO - на разных диапазонах и разными видами работ (CW; SSB; DIGI).
  Стоимость для россиян - 30 руб., для СНГ - 60 руб. Оплата марками или почтовым переводом.

• Новости URDA

• Как сообщает UT2FA - Сергей Платонов,7 и 8 июня будет работать с острова Березань  EU-179 / BS-02 позывным UT2FA/P.
  Расположение острова по карте непонятно, относится  к Очаковскому району
  NI-23 по URDA либо к Березанскому району NI-07. Более точная информация после
  экспедиции, либо по эфиру .
   

• ПАПА РИМСКИЙ В ХОРВАТИИ

• Специальная станция 9A100IP работает с 5 по 9 июня 2003 г. Папа Римский Иоанн-Павел II в третий раз посетил Хорватию. Город Риека стал его официальным 100 местом пребывания.

  В связи с этим, Президент Димитровградского Радио Клуба Константин Разживин - RA4LZ, учреждает призы за проведенные   с участниками экспедициии радиосвязи. 

• 
  1. Один радиолюбитель, проведший самое большое кол-во р/св, при условии проведения QSOs
  со всеми указанными RDA районами  - получит  ВИДЕОФИЛЬМ об экспедиции.
  
  2. 13 радиолюбителей, проведших наибольшее кол-во QSOs, но не
  попадающие под п.1 - получат ФОТО с автографами всех участников экспедиции.
  
  В случае, если несколько HAMов попадут под условия п.1, все они получат ВИДЕОФИЛЬМ
  об экспедиции. НИКАКИХ заявок, ни куда , высылать НЕ НАДО.
  Победители будут определены по логу и их позывные будут опубликованы
  в рефлекторах.. Проводимая акция абсолютно бесплатна для ее участников.
  

• Еще раз о получении американской лицензии

• Перевод вопросов на получение Штатовского позывного выложен на  http://www.qrz.ru/beginners/usa/
  Там  же  выложены  рекомендации  СЕРТ для экзаменов на получение ham
  license,   темы   практически   полностью   совпадают  с  темами  из
  американских  вопросников. Наши вопросники тоже будут соответствовать
  рекомендациям  СЕРТ,  поэтому  если  кто-то хочет повысить лицензию,
  делайте  это  сейчас, потом будет сложнее . Причем сильно сложнее,
  почитайте Экстру, будет где-то как-то так.
  

• КВ Полевой День (IARU Region 1 Field Day)

• Команда Владивостокского радиоклуба в период с 7 по 9 июня выезжает на КВ Полевой День (IARU Region 1 Field Day) на один из островов (AS-066) Японского моря. При наличии сопутствующей погоды планируется работа с о. Верховского с одноименным маяком (ASR-116 /
  ARLHS, RLA-012 /Russian Lighthouse Award) или о. Лаврова, также с одноименным маяком
  (ASR-093 / ARLHS, RLA-014 / Russian Lighthouse Award). Подход к о.Верховского очень сложный и ограничен одним направлением с северо-востока, при сильном ветре с данного направления высадка на остров будет невозможна, вся надежда на погоду...hi  Резервный вариант о. Лаврова.
  Аппаратура:
  KENWOOD TS-690 100 Вт, TRX RA3AO + PA, ант. Z-10 (Бриз), эл.генератор
  HONDA 3 кВт. Работаем позывными RK0LWW/P (QSL via UA3DX или бюро),
  UA0LMO/P (QSL direct home call or bureau).
  

• Новые частоты US станций

• С 3 июля 2003г. вступает в силу разрешение на работу US HAM станциям на 5 фиксированных частотах 60 метрового диапазона. Модуляция ТОЛЬКО SSB (2K8j3e) ака ТОЛЬКО - верхняя боковая полоса.Ширина спектра сигнала - 2.8 кГц. Частоты: 5332  5348  5368  5373 5405 кГц.
  Частоты-то выделили, но при этом придумали предельно странные ограничения мощности - "the equivalent of 50 W PEP transmitter output power into an antenna with a gain of 0 dBd" - не более 50 Вт в антенне эквивалентной диполю. Во-первых, не понятно о какой высоте диполя идет речь. Во-вторых, с 50 Вт на низах не разгонишься. В-третьих, с кем работать?
  (Единственная из этих частот - 5405, возможно, будет разрешена в Британии.)
  

• 280-летия города Перми

• Станция Пермской службы спасения RW9FWB в дни празднования 280-летия города Перми (с 12.06 по 22.06) будет использовать специальный позывной сигнал UE9FSS (UE9F-Служба-Спасения). Планируется работа на КВ и УКВ, в т.ч. 13-го июня - непосредственно с места проведения показательных выступлений подразделений службы. Связи со станциями UE9FAA и UE9FSS дают
  по 50-т очков на диплом Пермь-280.
  Международная встреча радиолюбителей в г. Белгороде

• -7 сентября  2003г. планируется провести международную встречу
  радиолюбителей в г. Белгороде, там же провести выездное заседание Президиума
  СРР.(4-тое)
  

• Большой десант итальянцев направляется в Албанию.
  У кого не закрыта эта страна, следите.
  Будут работать позывными ZA3/homecalls из Durazzo до 9 июня.

• Экспедиция в село Ображеевка, Сумской области, Украина

• 7-8 июня коллективом радиолюбителей- членов Чугуевского союза радиолюбителей
  "Радиохвыля" будет осуществлена экспедиция в село Ображеевка, Сумской
  области, Украина. Посвящена экспедиция дню рождения (8 июня 1920г.) трижды
  Героя Советского Союза Ивана Никитовича Кожедуба.В эфере будет звучать
  позывной UR4LXB/p.
  Операторы на этой коллективной
  радиостанции:UT1LB-Анатолий,UT2LY-Станислав,UX1LS-Сергей,UR5LVG-
  Анатолий.Радиостанция будет работать на 3,5; 7,0; 145,5 MHz SSB, FM. В эти
  дни можно выполнить условия диплома "Сокол-31", посвященого И.Кожедубу. Для
  его получения необходимо провести  7-8-9 июня  8 радиосвязей с
  радиолюбителями Сумской и Харьковской области Украины, при этом обязательной
  является одна связь с  этой экспедицией.Для получения диплома необходимо
  прислать заявку (выписку из аппаратного журнала)
  и три марки по 0,45 гривны для Украины или 1 купон IRC для других стран по

  equalling or exceeding 50% of the total of numbered islands/groups, excluding
  those with provisional numbers, at the time of preparation. The listing below
  includes  participants who  have at least  750 confirmed groups  (that is the
  threshold for the Plaque of Excellence).
  
  The full Honour Roll listing (including rankings from 225 to 512) as well  as
  the 2003 Annual Listing (callsigns of stations with a checked score of 100 or
  more islands/groups but less than the qualifying threshold for entry into the
  Honour Roll), the 2003 SWL Listing (list of SWLs with a checked score of  100

  Listing in the 2003 tables was  restricted to those  members who had  updated
  their scores since February 1998. This implemented the new rule in the latest
  IOTA Directory that  limits inclusion in  the listings to  those members  who
  update their scores at least once every five years. This change did not  have
  a major effect on the Honour Roll where almost all members had updated in the
  last five years,  but it led  to some  reduction in  the size  of the  Annual
  Listing.
  
  "Lapsed" members should  note that their  records on the  IOTA database  have
  been amended to reflect changes in Directory 2000 arising from the  splitting
  of a  number of  island groups.  This reminder  applies additionally  to  any
  member who had  not converted his/her  record to the  revised island  listing
  during the  last two  years. The  maximum 19  credits concerned  were  either
  confirmed or repositioned where HQ knew  the correct group or, failing  that,
  were deleted. Checkpoints should  be able to  provide information on  revised
  scores to enable replacement card action to be taken.
  
  All members  should be  reminded that  the final  decision on  acceptance  of
  credits is made at  IOTA HQ and  that this can  mean downward adjustments  to
  scores  at  any  time  to  reflect  corrections  of  one  sort  or   another.
  Data-cleansing work is  on-going and covers  every member's complete  record,
  not just the latest credits added. Although efforts are made to alert members
  to score changes, this cannot be  guaranteed to happen in each case.  Members
  who are intent on monitoring their record closely should check their credited
  score in the  performance tables when  published or, alternatively,  directly
  with their checkpoints AFTER their data has been recorded at HQ.
  
  Remember, the line of communication is via your checkpoint, so PLEASE do  not
  route queries direct to IOTA HQ  or the IOTA Manager.  Always check first  to
  see if the answer is in IOTA Directory 2000 or IOTA Directory - 11th Edition.
  
  ANNUAL UPDATE DEADLINE
  IOTA enthusiasts are reminded that the last date for mailing applications  or
  updates to  checkpoints for  inclusion  in the  2004  Honour Roll  and  other
  performance tables is 1 February  2004. If postmarked  after that date,  they
  will be processed in the normal way but the  scores will be held over to  the
  following year's listing. It is important  that members who have not  updated
  since the  1999 annual  listings and  wish to  remain  listed should  make  a
  submission on or before 1 February 2004.

  JD1_mt - JR8XXQ/JD1  is currently  active  from  Minami  Torishima  (OC-073),

  KH9    - Chuck Brady, N4BQW left Honolulu on 30 May for a 6-week stay on Wake
            Island. He  operates on  HF and  6 metres  in  his spare  time;  his
            favourite mode is SSB, but he can work some CW on his SSB  frequency
            when asked and the pileups are not too bad. Depending on demand  and
            on the  antenna situation,  he may  QSY to  the CW  portions of  the
            bands. Kimo Chun, KH7U welcomes "constructive comments or reports on
            reception" (kh7u@arrl.net),  but he  is neither  acting as  a  pilot

  ZW8M ---> 9000+ QSO were made  during the recent ZW8M operation from  Mexiana

  + SILENT  KEY  +  Junji  Saito, JA7SSB  reports  that  Hal  Ohkouchi,  JP1BJR
  (ex-J2JJ) died on 1 June in  Tokyo at 87 years of age.  A pioneer of  amateur
  radio in Japan, professor  Ohkouchi was a  past president of  JARL and a  FOC
  member until a few years ago.
