A^3 ABSTRACT ALGEBRA AND ALGORITHMS

Aug. 14-17, Eger, Hungary

http://a3.ektf.hu

The A^3 international meeting is aimed at mathematicians and computer
scientists interested in Abstract Algebra. Though this part of
Mathematics has many different branches, still the unique style of
algebraic thinking is recognizable and retained in all kind of
algebraic research. The meeting will utilize this common language to
bring together algebraists working in different research directions
and to facilitate conversations and discussions between researchers.
The meeting also puts some emphasis on the computational aspects of
abstract algebra.
Topics include, but not limited to:

groups and semigroups
rings and algebras
fields, modules, vector spaces
universal algebra, category theory
abstract algebraic algorithms

Location
Eger is a charming little town in Northern-East Hungary, east of the
Ma'tra mountains and south of the Bu:kk mountains. It is famous for its
historical buildings including a castle and a turkish minaret, thermal
baths and wine. The meeting is hosted by the Eszterha'zy Ka'roly College
and the venue is right behind the castle.
