9315, August 2 at 0202, R. Cairo English to N America sesquihour is still here, despite alleged plans to switch to 9720. Modulation is so poor I can`t confirm it`s really

English, but nothing on 9720. With splatter QRM from their own Arabic trash transmitter on 9305, so if for no other reason, they really should move the English to

unimpeded 9720.

15610, August 2 at 0401, Qur`an with flutter, undermodulated, not // Saudi Qur`an on 15170. But 15610 cut off abruptly at 0405* --- Allah`ll get `em for that! Thought it might

be runover from previous hour but HFCC shows it was start of R. Cairo Swahili service, 04-06, 250 kW, 170 degrees from Abu Zabaal. No doubt fixing R. Cairo is not even a

I suspected I was hearing AIR Itanagar on 4990 about the same time
today that you were listening, but for me was a weak signal. Thanks
for your confirmation. Definitely was not China (PBS Hunan) which is
sometimes heard.

After yesterday’s nice AIR Kohima reception on 4850, it was certainly
missed today, being off the air.

To you excellent list I can only add 4970 AIR Shillong. Heard from 1246
to end of program at 1315; YL DJ in English playing pop songs (“You
Light Up My Life”, etc.); audio is still good; about 1306-07 their trx cut in
and out a few times, but always came back on.

BTW – AIR Guwahati (4940) for me is usually totally covered by a strong
Voice of Strait (China) and AIR Gangtok (4835) is totally covered by ABC
Alice Springs (Australia). RRI Makassar dominates for me on 4750.

After that, announcer rather muffled and hard to understand. By 0408, 13650 is stronger than 11920 interviewing someone with American accent, but 13650 now also has

CCI making copy even harder, presumably R. Cairo in Swahili as scheduled from 0400. VIRI still hasn`t managed to find two clear frequency-hours a day for its only North

An hour ago, RNZI must have been having technical difficulties. At 02:58 tune-in, 17675 was in AM, not DRM with test tones (I've never heard that before from RNZI) and an

otherwise open carrier, in AM. 15720 was also in AM, but carrying RNZI programming. When rechecked at 03:58, all is back to normal with RNZI booming in with SNR of

a tune this evening, but conditions have taken a dive again. At least it has brief moments of improvement lately. SO, this evening I can report receiving the following on the

Сегодня я подсуетился, как только приехал с базара включился в 05.35 и обнаружил нехилый проход. Вот например на более чистом участке до 91.75 МГц

наиболее удаленные станции:

90.30 Наше радио (Луцк)
90.80 Радио Яшь, но программа не та же, что на 1053 кГц почему-то
91.00 Радио Би-Эй (Беларусь)

Дальше прошелся выше 100 МГц - там завал от украинских станций. ПРОТЫКНУТЬСЯ НЕГДЕ. Причем бывает по две станции на частоте, приходится вращением

антенны селектировать. Позаписывал кое-какие частоты, надо будет разбираться на досуге. К 07.00 проход повернул на Беларусь -Радио БиЭй почти на всю

шкалу индикатора, но РДС упорно не хочет показываться.

90.80 - Радио Яшь, в 05.40 +7, хотя раньше слышно было только на 90.70 из-за сильной помехи от Kiss FM, Винница 90.90, которая была +7

Вот пока все, хорошего понемногу :. Делаю перерыв на работу в интернете. Одновременно жена нагружает по хозяйству. Как говорит русская поговорка = жена

A good propagation or my new BOA 500m... 480 RER from IRQ seems to be still alive but with an offset of LSB 309Hz/USB 333Hz (carrier 480.012 kHz). Ident + E + 2.3s

tone, period 6.04s. A pretty strong signal. (sp7vcy - ndblist 03.08.12)

I take 353 LLD for granted--first to be heard, last to fade out, and
miss it if it's missing for one day. Strongest near-Pacific beacon by
far, hope it hangs around for a long time to come.
