Описание: Nizhni Novgorod office of Luxoft company (a member of IBS group), the leader in offshore software development, opens a Product Validation Programmer position.
DESCRIPTION :
Define software testing methodologies, design and implement test plans, test systems and test tools. Validate various products from Intel's Software and Solutions Group (SSG). Develop and automate test cases, run tests, analyze fails, report bugs, gather test and validation indicators.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure product quality and minimize validation escapes to customers. Ensure release timeliness the by carefully scheduling the test and validation tasks, and improving test efficiency through automation of test execution. Write test cases to increase code coverage. Must work closely with various international teams and stakeholders, such as development, documentation, release management, marketing, technical support, and customers.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Perl and shell scripting;
- Experience in commercial software development;
- Experience in software testing on Linux;
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing;
- Excellent analytical & debugging skills;
- Familiar with IA-32 and Itanium architectures;
- Experience in network protocols (NFS, FTP, SSH) and topology;
- Familiar with cluster solutions (Myrinet, Infiniband, Quadrics);
- Familiar with cluster message-passing software (MPI);
- Proficient in English (verbal & written) and Russian;
- Excellent technical communication skills to support a worldwide team;
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED:
- Experience in GUI test automation;
- Working knowledge of web services (HTML, XML);
EXPERIENCE LEVEL DEGREE DESIRED:
- BSCS required, MSCS preferred;
- 2+ years experience in software testing or Quality Assurance.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Implement software installation and packaging solutions for SPD (Software Products Division) products. Will also often require developing tools and infrastructure to automate installs development and packaging process to integrate into processes and tools of other SPD teams.
Responsibilities, job activities, desired outcomes:
Timely deliver of quality Installs, packaging and Integration tools and solutions as assigned by manager/team leads. Good understanding of the product functionality, environments for which Install/Integration tools are being developed.
Skills and experience:
EXPERIENCE LEVEL AND DEGREE DESIRED
- BSCS required, MSCS preferred;
- 5+ years of experience in software/Install/Integration development of which at least 12+ months of
InstallShield experience;
SKILLS CRITICAL FOR SUCCESS
- RPM (Linux Install tool);
- Fluency in Perl, and other Linux scripting languages;
- Good working knowledge of different Linux flavor platformsGood communication and written skills
in local and English language;
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED
- Knowledge of setting up and configuring clustered environment;
- Good knowledge of Concurrent Version Control System (CVS);
- Programming skills in InstallShield (except IS Express) and Familiarity with InstallShield for
WindowsInstaller, Microsoft Windows Installer service;
- C/C++ system programming and use of Visual C++ IDE;
- Ability to set up Windows and Linux systems (hardware and Software);
- Java or Visual Basic scripts.
