Надеюсь, что вы здоровы и полны желания работать дальше.
Проверяем домашнее задание.

1.I haven't got any money about me.
2. Do you learn any foreign languages?
3. In the last 24 hours too many things happened.
Things-исчисляемое существительное

4. There is nothing in the cup.
В чашке ничего нет. У нас 2 отрицания, в английском языке –только одно.

5. I want to tell you something .

6. I have some money in my pocket.

7. There is too much sugar in my coffee.
Sugar-сахар. Неисчисляемое существительное

8. I have few relatives in Moscow.
Relatives- родственники. Few, a few употребляется с исчисляемыми существительными.

9. Nobody knows the rule. You must learn it.
Никто не знает правило. Вы должны его выучить.

Подсказкой здесь является второе предложение. Возьмите за правило смотреть дополнительное предложение, если оно есть, рядом с тем, в котором надо выполнить задание.

10. Are there many students among your friends?

11. I have no time to go to the cinema.

А теперь следующие предложения для самостоятельной работы:

1.Have you got \ some, much, any\ English newspapers or magazines?
2. It was quiet in the room.( Nobody, somebody, anybody) said anything.
3. Do you spend ( much, few, many) time on doing your homework?
4. I've got very ( a few, few, little) English books at home.
5. We haven't got ( many, few, much) time left.
6. I didn't get ( some, no, any) letters yesterday.

7. There are ( any, not, no) apples on the tree.
8.We had ( anything, nothing) to say each other.
9. Martin spent ( much, few, many) time in hospital.
10.Everyone was listening to the teacher. ( Nobody, somebody, anybody) said anything.

А теперь проверим упражнение на артикли.

1. Where are the children?
- They are sitting in the room. They are watching a new film.
2. Yesterday we did a lot during our English lesson.
We read and translated a new text and wrote a short dictation.
3. Could you tell me where you have put the money?
4. "How did you like the film?" she asked.
5. London, the capital of England, is the largest city in the world.

The capital- столица, всегда с the.
The largest- превосходная степень прилагательного перед существительным.

We use THE when it is clear in the situation which thing or person we mean.

In a room we talk about THE LIGHT, THE FLOOR, THE CEILING, THE DOOR, THE CARPET ....

А теперь новое задание на артикли.

1. I watched...TV programme in...evening yesterday. I went to...bed late at ...night.
2. I always try to do morning exercises, but it is not....easy thing in...small room crowded with ....furniture.
3. Her brother goes to ...same school she does.
4. They are in ....room opposite ours.
5. What's this? - It's cheese. -Is...cheese fresh or stale? - It's fresh.
