A puppy, which suffered severe facial injuries after a dog fight, had its face fully restored its after UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in California printed a 3D mask to speed its recovery in Davis on Friday.
The Exo-K9 exoskeleton was designed specifically for a four-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier puppy called Loca.
The exoskeleton held its jawbone in place and even allowed the dog to eat soft food.
Loca wore the mask for several months after vets performed surgery on it.
The dog has fully recovered and now leads a normal life.
