1.      Как использовать идиомы
 Today we are going to speak about the idiomatic expression “to be on the side
of the angels”. This expression means to agree with the Great and the Good. This
phrase is from a speech made by Benjamin Disraeli at Oxford in 1864.Discussing
the theory of evolution Disraeli maintained that man was descended from God by
saying, “Is man an ape or an angel? I, my lord, am on the side of angels”. 
2.      Как проявить себя в олимпиаде по английскому языку?
В олимпиаде по английскому языку 2005 года для 6-7 классов было такое задание:
your new pen-friend is an Indian boy. Indians have long names. The boy’s name
is Fast Long Never Stopping Legs. He can run well. What can you do well? Write
the long names for yourself, your friends, and your relatives. Do it in the form
of a letter in which introduce yourself and your friends. В этом задании практически
все участники смогли проявить свою индивидуальность. Вот письмо, за которое поставлена
оценка 6, то есть оно выполнено
на среднем уровне, тем не менее, идеи в нём очень интересные. Ошибки сохраняю.
Dear Fast Long Never Stopping Legs! My name is Eternal Fantastic Always Interesting
Book. I like to read the fiction, the adventures and the interesting stories.
I live in Irkutsk with my family. My father’s name is Chubby Droll Sometimes
Serious Computer. He works at the factory. My mother’s name is Clever Guileful
Fuzzy Jolly Bold Puma. She works at the factory too. I have got an aunt, her
name is powerful Luxurious Perpetually Blooming Geranium, and a sister, her name
is Cachetic Small Knowing Everything
Walking Encyclopedia. They live in Angarsk.
I was not writing for a long time, because me and my friend Elegant Crashproof
 As Ever Laughing Easel have been to Germany. We were going for a walk there
a lot, going sightseeing and visiting the parks and museums. It was great!
One day my friend and I have gone for a walk and wanted to go across the road.
Suddenly from behind the corner motorcyclist has left on the rapid speed. He
has not hardly shaken down. But everything turned out all right. The fact is
that we forgotten about right-side traffic. I liked very much our trip.
Write me more about your family and your life style.
