"There is simply no good reason for it," Putin believes. "Running from problems has never been my way of dealing with things," the PM said, replying to a question whether a government shakeup was due amid the current financial turmoil. Ministers are supposed to bear the full responsibility for their obligations, he noted, adding that in his opinion, cabinet members were fully aware of that. "Threatening anyone with dismissal is pointless," Putin said, indicating that, meanwhile, he wished that ministers solved certain issues more promptly.
