На сайте FortMinor.com http://fortminor.com/site.html в разделе медиа опубликованы фотографии со съёмок клипа на сингл «Petrified».

C завтрашнего дня два сингла Fort Minor - «Remember The Name» и «Petrified» - будут достпны в онлайновых магазинах музыки iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster. К каждому синглу прилагаются инструменталы указанных трэков.

- Майк о работе с музыкантами, принимавшими участие в записи:
Black Thought был прикольным; он пришёл, стрелял сигареты одну за другой около 3-4 часов, записав свою читку с нескольких подходов. Нет проблем. Думаю, это одна из моих самых любимых читок от него, и я правда счастлив, что это попало на мой альбом.
Common и я часами трепались в студии, мы, наверно, половину всего отведённого нам времени проболтали, даже не работая над альбомом.
С John Legend я встречался, когда он записывался вместе с Alicia Keyes в Лос Анжелесе. Часть, которую Джон исполняет в песне - в оригинале, в самом начале, исполнял я. Я выслал ему запись с моим голосом, чтобы он послушал и решил, согласится ли петь вместо меня. Ему понравилось и он отправил мне обратно трэк уже со своим вокалом.

На сайте режиссёра видео «Believe Me» lurenbriet.com появился его комментарий по поводу этого самого клипа:
«Видео, которое сейчас крутят в Азии и Европе - это ‘первая’ версия. Нам нужно было успеть в срок к международному релизу клипа, но потом мы немного его подогнали до кондиции. Та же версия, только более доработанная в плане послесъёмочного процесса. Я опубликую часть клипа как только получу зелёный свет от Warner. Было приятно работать с Майком, Ryu, Cheapshot и БоБо. Рад, что всё получилось, рад вернуться домой».

Майк обновил свой журнал на официальном LinkinPark.com:

«К этому моменту вы уже видели ‘Petrified’ и ‘Believe Me’. Я получил тонны хороших отзывов, рад, что вам понравилось. Кстати, скоро выйдет новая версия ‘Believe Me’. Она не так уж отличается: просто световые эффекты сделали сильнее и сделали клёвый эффект в припеве (о котором я вам не буду рассказывать - увидете)...

Ещё кое-что из новостей: будет специальное издание альбома ‘The Rising Tied’ в тот же день, что и обыкновенный релиз. Из новостей радиостанции Аризоны стало известно, что у Честера запланировано сольное выступление в городе Меса, Аризона, на фестивале Taste The Music 5-го ноября.
Помимо него будут выступать Джим Адкинс из Jimmy Eat World, the Format, Роджер Клайн совместно с the Peacemakers и Authority Zero.

Майк в своём сообщении на форуме Fort Minor сказал, что он планирует включить DVD с клипами «Petrified» и «Believe Me» и историей создания видео «Petrified» в комплект вещей для вступивших в фан-клуб FORT MINOR MILITIA, который скоро откроет двери для фанов. Очевидно, это будет аналог LPU и по аналогии можно предположить, что в комплекте будет футболка, фотография или ещё что-нибудь.

На сайте live8livedvd.com теперь можно вписать своё имя в историю и стать одним из Live 8 People.

Также на сайте новый розыгрыш призов: футболки, брошюры, книги и тому подобное (для входа жмите на кнопку «Competiotion»). Для этого, как и в прошлый раз, требуется ответить на один вопрос. Ответ на него - Richard Ashcroft.

Сайт Motley.com выложил видео о съёмках совместного ремейка песни «Home Sweet Home» Motley Crue и Честера Беннингтона. Сингл был записан исключительно в благотворительных целях в пользу жертв урагана Катрина (на данный момент продаётся в магазине электронной музыки iTunes). Motley Crue организовали совместный проект с Linkin Park

Motley Crue записали новую версию своего хита "Home Sweet Home" с вокалистом Linkin Park Честером Беннингтоном (Chester Bennington), сообщает РокмЬюзик. Запись состоялась через несколько часов после их совместного выступления в Нашвилле на благотворительном концерте в помощь жертвам урагана "Катрина". Пока что трек доступен через интернет-магазин "iTunes", однако вскоре он будет выпущен на CD вместе с репортажем о записи. Вся прибыль идет на помощь пострадавшим от стихии.
Кроме собственно Беннингтона и "Motley Crue" в записи приняли участие госпел-хор из 26 голосов и оркестр из 25 музыкантов. Запись спродюсировал Десмонд Чайлд (Desmond Child). В заявлении для прессы Беннингтон отметил: "Я надеюсь, что люди отнесутся к этому так, как мы предполагали. Песня хорошо выражает [наши] чувства, и когда мы ее сделали, случилось что-то особенное".
