Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

• Via manual and automated tests to ensure that the functionality implemented corresponds with the expectations.
• To conduct planning and structure test scenarios.
• To build, document and maintain test suites and subsequently automate the quality assurance.
• To challenge software developers.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following minimal required competencies / skills:

• MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
• 1+ year of experience in software testing
• Good k nowledge of IT technology
• Strong MS Office skills
• Good English writing and spoken skills
• Ability to see things from the users’ point of view
• Critical and persistent, able to keep a good grasp of details
• Able to communicate in a clear and precise way
• Perfectly capable of handling many simultaneously tasks.

The candidates should feel comfortable working in an environment with strict procedures and standards.

• Analyze test plans.
• Develop test cases.
• Testing of new releases of the products developed.
• Validate defects reported by customers.
• Validate defect fixes implemented by developers.
• Report daily on your activities.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:

• Work experience with software automated testing/QA.
• Knowledge and practical skills of test technologies and procedures.
• Knowledge of test tools (Rational Test Suite, JUnit, etc.).
• Technical English.

Following qualifications are strong advantages:

• Starting from functional requirements, develop detailed test plans and communicate them to the software testers.
• Develop test scripts (automated testing) using integrated J2EE test tools.
• Testing of new releases of the products developed.
• Validate defects reported by customers.
• Validate defect fixes implemented by developers.
• Report daily on your activities.
• Report on project evolutions.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:

• MS/BS degree in Computing Sciences, IT or equivalent
• 1+ year of work experience with software automated testing/QA
• Deep knowledge and practical skills of test technologies and procedures
• Knowledge of test tools (Rational Test Suite, JUnit, etc.)
• Knowledge of J2EE framework
• Technical English

Functional Quality Assurance Engineers (Code: QAE 308)

Infopulse Ukraine is currently seeking highly motivated Functional Quality Assurance Engineers (Code: QAE 308) to fulfill our project teams to work on per-contract/full time in Kiev office.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following minimal required competencies / skills:

• Experience in manual testing of client –server and/or web-oriented applications
• 1+ year of previous experience in similar role/position, understanding of the software development and test process
• Reviewing functional specifications and based on it writing test case
• Knowledge of defect life cycle: writing defects, validating them
• Good level of English language (both spoken and written), French is an asset
• Analytical mind, positive attitude, strong communication and team-playing skills.

Any additional of the beneath mentioned skills/knowledge will be a big plus:

• Cash / financial software consulting
• Experience in automated software testing using any automated tool, RR is advantage but not necessarily
• Ability to write quality procedures (black-box design) used to write/record scripts
• Knowledge of automated testing methodologies
• Basic SQL knowledge
