I have been living in Finland for almost 5 years and I want to tell you in this topic what I know about life here. And if you have any questions, please ask. It will be clearer to me what to write about.
I moved here in 2010. On business. If you want to briefly describe the history of the move, it looked like this. At first I bought a house with a friend as a vacation home. Had a little drive. Had a closer look. Liked it. I started thinking about moving.
At the end of 2008, I opened an office here. A year and a half later, when the office started to get going and I wound up various things in St. Petersburg, we came here and applied for a residence permit. We at first received the visa for a year, then another year, and then for 4 years.
The children (my daughter and son) go to the local Finnish school. They learned Finnish very fast. It helps me in English, and now I can solve problems in Finnish in simple situations. My wife has improved her Finnish in the courses.
